You can start and complete your Twin City Wheels car donation today. If you’re in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro and contact us on a weekday before noon, we can usually schedule same-day pickup; otherwise, your vehicle is typically picked up the next business day. A live Heritage for the Blind coordinator confirms your details, locks in your tow time, and you’re done—no inspections, no repair hassle, no paperwork guessing.
Here’s how it works in the Twin Cities: you either call Twin City Wheels (partnering with Heritage for the Blind, a 501(c)(3)) or start our 2‑minute online form. A coordinator reviews your vehicle’s year, make, model, condition, and exact location—whether you’re in Uptown, Northeast, Powderhorn, Linden Hills, Nokomis, or suburbs like Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, or Eagan. We arrange free towing, even if the car doesn’t run, using flatbed service when needed. Your vehicle is sold, and within about 30 days you receive a written tax receipt that meets IRS Form 1098‑C rules for donations over $500. From the moment you contact us to your empty driveway, you’re guided step by step.

Within ~30 daysYour donated vehicle is sold to support Heritage for the Blind’s services for people who are blind or visually impaired. Once sold, you’re mailed a written tax receipt, usually within about 30 days, meeting IRS Form 1098‑C requirements for donations valued over $500.
Why the process is genuinely fast
Same-day pickup in most Twin Cities areas
Weekday calls before noon in many Minneapolis–St. Paul neighborhoods can be scheduled for same-day towing; otherwise we aim for the next business day. Our coordinators give you a realistic window so you know exactly when your car is leaving.
2-minute start from your phone or laptop
The online form or initial phone call is designed to be fast. In under two minutes you can share the essentials, trigger dispatch, and be on your way to a confirmed pickup time instead of spending your day fielding texts and offers.
Monday–Saturday live dispatch support
You’re never left guessing about timing. From Monday through Saturday, a real coordinator walks through your donation, confirms details, and works directly with local tow partners so your pickup happens today or by the next business day whenever possible.
Non-running and damaged cars welcome
No need to fix or even start your car. Whether it’s not running, has a dead battery, flat tires, or body damage, we’ll handle it. Flatbed service is available at no cost to you, so condition doesn’t slow down your donation.
No inspection, photos, or repairs required
You don’t have to schedule inspections or take perfect listing photos. A quick description of your vehicle is enough to donate. That keeps the process moving so your car can be gone today or tomorrow, not weeks from now.
